Ever expanding, Bansko Ski area currently comprises 70km of ski runs (19) from 990m to 2600m with a capacity of 10,000 people per day.

Snow cannons cover more than 75% of the runs. A unique 16km run goes from the highest peak (2600m) down to the town. The resort caters for all levels, - excellent facilities for beginners and challenging runs for advanced skiers & boarders.

Excellent off-piste facilities for “Extreme” skiers include “heli” & “para” skiing.

Our local partner can provide all necessary winter sports equipment for rental as well as ski school and transfers to the slopes from the villas.

The choice of active pursuits is endless mountain hiking and biking, paragliding, hill walking, fishing, swimming, horse trekking, golf, to name a few.

Cultural activities include visiting the famous monastery at Rila (UNESCO site), the preserved architectural villages of Leshten and Kovatchavista, or exploring Bansko and Razlog to understand the amazing history of the area.

For relaxation, try day trips on the local narrow gauge railway, trips to the wine village of Melnik or the bear sanctuary at Belitza, or spend some time shopping in Bansko “Old Town”.

The Mediterranean is also within easy reach - the Greek resort of Kavalla is around 2 hours away by car. The ferry from there to Thassos takes only 35 minutes!

Our local partner can provide all the necessary equipment and guidling for all activities. They also run excursions to interesting sites in the area, as well as one and 2 day trips to the Aegean sea and Thassos island.
